We encourage all students in 7th and 8th grade, or high schoolers if you haven’t been confirmed yet, to take this two-year learning experience as an important part of their faith walk with Jesus. In this class, they will learn what the Bible says about their relationship with God their Creator, Redeemer and Teacher and hopefully make their faith in Jesus Christ personal. Through exploring God’s Word, applying Luther’s Small Catechism, participating in video trivia games, and role playing they will GROW in their faith, learn how to love and forgive others, and discover how to love and trust in God with their life.
Classes meets every Wednesday during the school year (except during Advent and Lent). Following two years of instruction, the students are confirmed in church on the first Sunday in May.
Each school year begins with a confirmation orientation, and first year students will be trained as acolytes and to run pro presenter which will allow them to participate in leading the worship services. If you have any questions or would like more information about the class, please contact Cherie, our church secretary at 239-481-4040 or by clicking here.
