The first Saturday in November, February, and March all our ministry leaders come together to present about what they do and how people can get involved. This is for new and long term members of Zion. It goes from 10am to 12pm and lunch is provided. You do not have to volunteer for anything, you can just come to learn about all we do here at Zion.
Reaching out to our Early Childhood Center (ECC) families as well families right here in our community. You can get involved by helping with outreach events like Trunk or Treat, our family picnic, movie nights, Wednesday Night Family Event Nights, and many other activities we host to reach and support families in our ECC and neighborhoods.
We are also very involved in the Harlem Heights community through Habitat for Humanity, working with them to rehabilitate parks and homes in their neighborhood, helping at their Community Center and events for children and families including; sports camps, VBS programs, and collecting food, school supplies, and Christmas gifts for families.
We are also trying to reach out to seniors in our community offering programs to support them if they don’t have family down here by providing support groups for care takers, grief share, adopt a senior, and other great ministry opportunities.
For more information regarding any of these opportunities please click here, or call our church office at (239) 481-4040 to talk to someone with more information or how to sign up.
